2nd Annual Feature Shoot 2015 Emerging Photography Awards
The 2nd Annual Feature Shoot 2015 Emerging Photography Awards is an international photography completion that is open to entrants that are 21 or older. This competition is for up and coming image-makers that are ready to kick off their careers. You are able to submit up to 5 images in any genre.
5 photographers will each receive:
- A gallery show at United Photo Industries in Dumbo, Brooklyn
- A Diana F+ Camera from Lomography
- Cecilia Camera Strap
- Expert Printing of work that is exhibited by Ken Allen Studios
- Announcement on featureshoot.com
The competition closes on the 15th of February 2016.
2016 Commonwealth Short Story Prize
This is an annual award for unpublished short fiction. The story needs to be adult fiction and should not have been written for children. You are able to write on anything that you want.
The entries will need to be between 2000 and 5000 words and written in English.
There will be 5 winners, one from each region i.e. Africa, Canada and Europe, Asia, Pacific and Caribbean.
There will be one regional winner that will be selected as the over all winner.
The overall winner will receive £5,000 and the remaining regional winners will receive £2,500.
The competition closes on the 1st of November 2015
Writers & Artists Yearbook 2016 Short Story Competition
Entrants must submit an original and unpublished prose of 2000 words or less and the theme this year is Aging.
In order to enter you will need to be registered on www.writersandartists.co.uk.
You could win:
- £500 cash
- A place on an Arvon residential writing course of your choice
- Your story published on writersandartists.co.uk.
